COVID-19 Update for our Customers

We are fully in support of the Government and the actions they have taken to contain and eliminate COVID-19 in New Zealand.
Due to the lock-down our stores are closed until further notice however we would like to inform customers of the best way to communicate with us during this time:

Existing Orders:
If you have an existing order and did not manage to return your party hire products then please don’t stress, there will be no additional hire fees and you can return the hire products after the 28-day isolation period has ended. If you would like to either amend or make a future order then please contact your local branch via e-mail, we are all operating at home to make sure the needs of our customers are met. Essential Services:
We are able to provide support for essential services only during this difficult time. If you are an essential service and require a marquee or hire product then please contact your local Carlton branch in the first instance.

Your protection and the safety of our team is paramount during this time therefore we will operate a closed gate policy where goods that are collected are placed in a collection area outside the branch. If you require a delivery or installation of a marquee, we will detail to each customer the health & safety protocol that we will be using for each individual site.

Marquee Accessories

Once the marquee has been booked you will need to arrange the accessories to complete the marquee for your function.  Whatever the function or event you will find that all Carlton Party Hire branches stock everything you may require so be sure to discuss your hire needs with one of our experienced and professional staff at your local branchConsider flooring and dance floor options and whether you would like your marquee to be silk lined or not.  Your local branch may well stock some variations for the marquee walls that offer windows or some branches even stock a clear wall alternative.


Every Carlton Party Hire branch holds a substantial amount of chairs and tables and various furniture options for bar areas or outside as well as large quantities of flatware and glasses for the tables.  They can even supply your linen requirements, table centerpieces and catering equipment.

All branches stock AV equipment and special effects lighting and if a stage is required they can even supply that too.

Be sure to think about the time of year of your function, you may need to consider heating or fans depending on the temperature.
